About Michael d'Orlando
FPM is actively operated by Mr. d’Orlando based with the simple mission of providing superior “Client Focused”, Responsible, Objective, fully Scalable, and Customizable Project Management, Owners Representation, and Real Estate Advisory Services.
As a seasoned real estate executive with 30 years of experience, Mr. d’Orlando has been involved in the planning, design oversight, approvals, and construction implementation of well over 15 million square feet of Real Estate projects over the past three decades. Michael attended New York Institute of Technology and graduated with a Bachelors in Architectural Technology. Upon graduating Michael went on to hold key positions in both Architecture and Project Management at some of the industry’s leading firms such as Reckson Associates Realty Corp, IA Interior Architects, Quartararo & Associates, and Jones Lang LaSalle. Upon leaving JLL and following his entrepreneurial instinct, Mr. d’Orlando cofounded and grew a successful consulting business which he sold before founding Focused Project Management.
Over the course of Mr. d’Orlando’s tenure in the industry, Michael has provided advisory services and project management services for projects large and small including notable projects such as the 800,000 s.f. repositioning of the property at the 120 Hamilton Avenue in White Plains for Ivy Realty, the 380,000 s.f. New York Life property in Sleepy Hollow, NY, and the $71m building modernization and repositioning upgrade of the New York Life’s 1.5 million s.f. Headquarters at 51 Madison Avenue.
